The Most Prevalent Plumbing Problems

Every homeowner will run into plumbing problems at some point. Some may be fixed with a simple DIY technique, but others will require you to call a professional plumbing service. This video will discuss some of the most common plumbing problems and how to fix them (or if you need to call a plumber).

The first problem is a clogged toilet. This is something almost every person, whether they are a homeowner or not, has had to deal with at some point. It is usually a DIY job that requires just a plunger. If you notice that other toilets, sinks, and showers are also not draining, or emitting wastewater from the drains, then you know you have a serious problem that requires a professional’s touch.

The opposite of a clogged toilet is a running toilet. This is an easy thing to fix. You need to make sure the flush valve, fill valve, handle, and flapper are all working together. Often, it’s just a matter of making sure the flapper is sealing properly. There are some bolts and screws, but nothing that requires specialized equipment. Feel free to handle this on your own.
