What to Expect From an HVAC Inspection
Watch this video to see what an HVAC inspection involves. Like other systems that need maintenance, HVAC systems also need to be checked occasionally. A yearly inspection is important to identify problems and conduct maintenance and repairs.
What should one expect from an HVAC inspection? HVAC inspections usually involve thoroughly evaluating the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. The inspection is meant to identify issues with the system and offer suggestions for fixes and replacements.
When conducting an HVAC inspection, the first thing a technician does is to open the panels and ensure the wiring is correct and that there are no possible leaks. They then check the furnace filter to see if it works correctly and needs to be replaced.
The inspection also involves examining the thermostat, condenser, coils, and vents to ensure they function properly. The technician also checks for leaks, any noises, or sounds and conducts a test to see if the results match the manufacturer’s specifications. If any part of the system is dirty or faulty, it is cleaned and replaced with a new one.
