Decorating a nursery is one of the most exciting parts of preparing for your baby to arrive. It can be a lot of fun to pick out paint colors, decor, bedding, shelving, you name it! It really helps to make the whole concept feel “real” and helps you prepare to welcome your precious bundle of joy.

It’s also a good idea to have a theme or at least a color palette in mind before you begin combing through stores. That way all your decor, accessories, nursery bedding, and other items will match and look cohesive. Since you will be spending a lot of time in your baby’s nursery, you want to make sure it’s a calm and comfortable environment for YOU, as well as, of course, for your baby.
